1. Introduction: Streetil's Role as a Marketplace

Streetil operates exclusively as a technology platform that connects local customers with independent third-party merchants ("Merchants") who list and offer their products, services, and rentals directly to the public.

Streetil is NOT the seller, vendor, or provider of the products, services, or rentals listed on our platform. Accordingly, all aspects of fulfillment, product quality, service delivery, shipping, cancellations, and refunds are the sole responsibility of the Merchant from whom the purchase was made.

By using the Streetil platform, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that your contract for purchase, delivery, cancellation, and refund is strictly between you and the Merchant.

2. Cancellation and Refund Process

A. Merchant's Policy Governs

Each Merchant is required to clearly state their individual cancellation, return, and refund policy on their profile or listing page. You must review the Merchant's specific policy before making a purchase or booking.

B. Requesting a Cancellation or Refund

1. Direct Contact: To request a cancellation, return, or refund, you must first contact the Merchant directly using the contact details provided on their Streetil profile or on the order confirmation.

2. Compliance: The Merchant will process your request according to their published policy. Streetil does not process refunds for physical goods, services, or rentals.

C. Timeframe

Refund processing times (once approved by the Merchant) will depend on the Merchant's payment system and your financial institution. Streetil has no control over this timeline.

3. Streetil's Non-Refundable Platform Fees

If Streetil charges a separate, explicit service fee or transaction fee for the use of the platform itself (if applicable), this fee is compensation for the provision of the connecting technology and is non-refundable once the transaction has been executed.

4. Dispute Resolution and Mediation

While Streetil does not handle refunds, we are committed to maintaining a trustworthy environment.

A. Merchant Obligations

Merchants are expected to uphold high standards of service and honor their stated policies. Failure to do so may result in review or suspension from the platform.

B. Reporting a Dispute

If a Merchant fails to respond to your request or refuses to follow their own published policy, you may report the dispute to Streetil's support team.

  • Streetil's Role in Disputes: Our role is limited to review and investigation. We will communicate with the Merchant to encourage resolution based on their stated policy. Streetil reserves the right to take action against the Merchant, including temporary suspension or permanent removal from the platform, but we are not liable for refunding your payment.
